Humberto Polar & Mike Sandoval met in Mexico City in 2010. They both have active careers as performing musicians and share a love for improvisation and experimental composition. They also share many years of experience in the fields of jazz and advanced music, Polar as a guitarist and Sandoval as a prestigious double bass player. Their project includes an array of electronic gear such as modular synths, loopers and sequencers that they blend with their instrument playing to create original textures and beautifully crafted compositions. Although both have busy schedules on different music projects, they get together to compose and perform and make selected shows in art festivals. They performed at the closing date of Mutek 2017 with big critical success.
